The Church which now meets in Celt Street has been in existence for nearly 100 years, being established in Tomnahurich Street in 1912.
Since 1937 we have been meeting in our present building which was extended in 1987, half a century later.
We are an independent Church, recognising the divine leadership of Christ to govern through our members. A number of elders are responsible for the spiritual well-being of the Church. The Church is financially self-supporting.
Churches which adopt a similar pattern of church practice to our own are sometimes known as “Christian Brethren”.
Our aim is to provide a spiritual home for Christian believers for worship, prayer, fellowship and Bible teaching, as well as providing a base for sharing the message of the Christian gospel with the surrounding community.
